Lost Nuke

In 2004 it was estimated that at least 11 nuclear weapons of the bomb type. This is not counting other types of nuclear weapons. It was also estimated that 92 nuclear bombs were lost at sea from all nuclear capable countries.

Nuclear Accidents

Here are some of our military nuclear accidents in date order:

1950 saw a B-36 drop a nuclear bomb over the state of Washington, the explosive material detonated but the nuclear bomb didn't We also had a crash of a B-29 that was carrying a nuclear payload into the mountains of New Mexico. A B-50 crashed in Ohio setting off its high explosives but not its nuclear cargo. A B-29 crashed in California, again the explosive material to detonate but not the nuclear bomb.

In 1956 a B-47 crashed into a storage area containing nuclear weapons but they didn't go off.

In 1957 a B-36 dropped a nuke in the New Mexico desert. The explosive material detonated but not the nuclear material. A B-47 crashed in Florida with two nukes onboard.

In 1958 a B-47 containing a nuke crashed and burned causing contamination. A B-47 dropped it's nuclear bomb over South Carolina. The high explosive detonated but not the nuclear bomb. A B-47 caught fire while the plane was on takeoff. It contained nukes. The plane crashed and the high explosive detonated but not the nukes. This took place in Texas. A B-47 loaded with nukes caught fire and the its nuke was destroyed.

1959 saw a F-100 go on fire while it had a nuke on board. A C-124 crashed in Louisiana with a nuke but it was destroyed in the crash. A B-52 armed with nukes crashed into a KC-135. The two nukes from the plane were recovered in Kentucky.

In 1960 a fire in New Jersey destroyed a nuclear missile storage facility.

In 1961 a B-52 which contained two nukes crashed in California.

In 1964 a B-52 with two nukes on board crashed in Maryland. A nuclear Minuteman rocket fired in error. A B-58 with a nuclear load crashed in Indiana causing contamination.

In 1965 a C-124 loaded with nukes went on fire in Ohio.

In 1966 a B-52 with a nuclear cargo collided with a KC-135. The high explosive material detonated in two of the four nukes but no nuclear explosion took place. This happened over Palomares, Spain and caused one of the most expensive clean ups.

In 1968 a B-52 with nukes on board crashed in Greenland. We recovered one nuke but it is not know if the other three were destroyed in the fire or lost. Workers who helped with the cleanup died.

In 1980 a Titan II missile had it's fuel tank punctured and took off and traveled a distance of about 600 feet.

Will future generations suffer because of our carelessness? Could be! Imagine a nuclear weapon somewhere in the ocean and after a few hundred years the casing gets so corroded that the nuclear material leaks out into the water. The tides carry the contamination for hundreds or thousands of miles. This would effect the marine life. People would eat the fish and then the mutations and sickness would start. I am sure that this will be denied but I think that we as intelligent people all know better.

Israel @ 60

This year, Israel celebrates its 60th anniversary of nationhood

Israel (Hebrew: יִשְרָאֵל‎, Yisra'el; Arabic: إسرائيل‎, Isrā'īl) officially the State of Israel (Hebrew: מְדִינַת יִשְרָאֵל , Medinat Yisra'el; Arabic: دَوْلَةْ إِسْرَائِيل‎, Dawlat Isrā'īl),

The amount of news space that this small country occupies is somewhat remarkable, of which not enough is usually devoted to its contributions to business and industry. Those of us involved in telecommunications are likely more exposed to Israel than most other sectors of the economy - although bio-tech is another major source of exports.

The modern state of Israel has its roots in the Land of Israel (Eretz Yisrael), a concept central to Judaism for over three thousand years.

Over the past three thousand years, the name "Israel" has meant in common and religious usage both the Land of Israel and the entire Jewish nation. The name originated from a verse in the Bible (Genesis, 32:28) where Jacob is renamed Israel after successfully wrestling with an angel of God.

Israel has one of the world’s fastest growing developed economies.

Israel's impact on information and communication technologies and services has been immense: if you have deployed VoIP or mobile services, you are using Israeli technology. Most of the world's biggest carriers are using Israeli developed enhanced services platforms and most Canadians receive their phone or cable bills from an Israeli developed billing system.

Single economic parameter in Israel in 2006 was positive. Despite strong growth, inflation was actually negative –0.1% in 2006 compared to 2.4% in 2005, while unemployment dipped sharply to 8.3% at the end of 2006 from 9% in 2005 and 10.4% in 2004.

In terms of trade North America remains Israel’s largest overseas exports destination with $18.7 billion worth of goods sold there in 2006, of which $17.85 billion was to the United States. During 2006 $15.5 billion worth of goods was exported to Europe and $8.5 billion to Asia. Israel is the only country in the world that has free trade agreements with both the European Union and NAFTA (United States, Canada and Mexico).

Israel is considered one of the most advanced countries in the Southwest Asia in economic and industrial development. The country has been ranked highest in the region on the World Bank's Ease of Doing Business Index[170] as well as in the World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Report.[15] It has the second-largest number of startup companies in the world (after the United States) and the largest number of NASDAQ-listed companies outside North America.[171] In 2007, Israel had the 44th-highest gross domestic product and 22nd-highest gross domestic product per capita (at purchasing power parity) at US$232.7 billion and US$33,299, respectively[4]. In 2007, Israel was invited to join the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development,[172] which promotes cooperation between countries that adhere to democratic principles and operate free market economies.[173]

Despite limited natural resources, intensive development of the agricultural and industrial sectors over the past decades has made Israel largely self-sufficient in food production, apart from grains and beef. Other major imports to Israel, totaling US$47.8 billion in 2006, include fossil fuels, raw materials, and military equipment.[2] Leading exports include fruits, vegetables, pharmaceuticals, software, chemicals, military technology, and diamonds; in 2006, Israeli exports reached US$42.86 billion.[2] Israel is a global leader in water conservation and geothermal energy,[174] and its development of cutting-edge technologies in software, communications and the life sciences have evoked comparisons with Silicon Valley.[175][176] Intel[177] and Microsoft[178] built their first overseas research and development centers in Israel, and other high-tech multi-national corporations, such as IBM, Cisco Systems, and Motorola, have opened facilities in the country. In July 2007, U.S. billionaire Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway bought an Israeli company Iscar, its first non-U.S. acquisition, for $4 billion.[179] Since the 1970s, Israel has received economic aid from the United States, whose loans account for the bulk of Israel's external debt,[2] although that aid is expected to end in 2008.[163]

Tourism, especially religious tourism, is another important industry in Israel, with the country's temperate climate, beaches, archaeological and historical sites, and unique geography also drawing tourists. Israel's security problems have taken their toll on the industry, but the number of incoming tourists is on the rebound.[180]

Has the largest VC/GDP rate in the world, seven times that of the United States.

There are strong links between the US and Israel that have been built over the years. For many Israeli issuers a NASDAQ primary listing is preferred. The principal attraction of the US is its size in investment terms - $15 trillion in equity assets, representing nearly half the world's total," explained Crosswell.

Moringa "Malunggay"

Called “Malunggay” in the Philippines, “Sajina” in the Indian Subcontinent, and “Moringa” in English, it is a popular tree. Many Asians use the leaves of Malunggay (Sajina) like spinach and also the fruit it produces as a vegetable, like asparagus. Both the leaves and the fruits are very nutritious, which contain many vitamins like Vitamin C and other minerals. For centuries, people in India, Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand have been eating these leaves as a part of their food.

Research on Malunggay

The seeds of Malunggay, Moringa oleifera, were extracted with distilled ethanol and concentrated under reduced pressure at 40oC. The resulting extract was partitioned between hexane, ethylacetate, butanol and water. The solvent fractions were likewise concentrated under reduced pressure.

The crude ethanol extract of dried seeds inhibited the carrageenan-induced inflammation in the hind paw of mice by 85% at a dosage of 3 mg/g body weight while the mature green seeds by 77%. The hexane fraction of the crude ethanol extract of the dried seeds also inhibited inflammation by 77% at the same dosage while both butanol and water fractions inhibited inflammation by only 34%. These results indicate the strong anti-inflammatory activities of the ethanol extract and the hexane fraction.

On the other hand, the ethylacetate fraction caused a 267% increase in inflammation and exhibited toxicity. The mice died after oral administration of the fraction. The crude ethanol extract also inhibited the formation of Epstein-Barr virus-early antigen (EBV-EA) induced by 12-0-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA). At a dosage of 100?g/ml, the extract inhibited EBV-EA formation by 100% suggesting its anti-tumor-promoting activity.

Therapeutics of Malunggay/Moringa

Sometimes, people think that solutions to their problems are expensive and hard to find. But more often than not, real solutions to basic problems are abundant, cheap and even free. Health problems are especially solvable with natural inexpensive gifts from nature.

Moringa, for example, is a wonderful blessing for us all. Locally, it is called malunggay and is easily available everywhere. Unfortunately, it is little appreciated by many Filipinos. Today, I would like to share with the good news about Moringa, as written by Mark Fritz of the Los Angeles Times.

"Scientifically speaking, Moringa sounds like magic. It can rebuild weak bones, enrich anemic blood and enable a malnourished mother to nurse her starving baby. Ounce for ounce, it has the calcium of four glasses of milk, the vitamin C of seven oranges and the potassium of three bananas.

"A dash of Moringa can make dirty water drinkable. Doctors use it to treat diabetes in West Africa and high blood pressure in India. Not only can it staunch a skin infection, but Moringa also makes an excellent fuel and fertilizer.

"Memo to Popeye: Moringa has triple the iron of spinach and more impressive attributes than olive oil. Both Moringa and the common carrot are diamonds in the roughage department, but Moringa has quadruple the beta carotene, which is good for the eyes and effective against cancer."

Fritz also reports on the positive results of using Moringa as a substitute for expensive whole milk powder in nutrition projects.

''Doomsday'' Vault

What was the hurry in building this facility deep under ground to store thousands of varieties of seeds? They say it’s a hedge against natural catastrophes. What natural catastrophes? Can global warming result in the total destruction of plant life so soon? It would probably take more than a hundred years from now for a fraction of the known varieties to disappear due to natural causes. So why build it NOW with the thousands of varieties of seeds?

February 26, 2008—A half moon shines over the entrance to the new Svalbard Global Seed Vault in a recent photo.

Capable of protecting as many as 4.5 million of the world’s agricultural seeds, would secure seeds from be it climate change, global warming, natural disasters, war or even a plant epidemic. It is built by blasting into a frozen mountain, creating nearly 400-foot tunnel, placing the vault for foil-wrapped seeds deep inside.

This impressive facility, hope, would protect crop biodiversity even millions of years later, when life on earth may disappear to yet another mega global cataclysm or catastrophe — call it the “21st century Noah’s Ark” in the making?

The "doomsday" vault is designed to keep millions of seed samples safe from natural and unnatural disasters: global warming, asteroid strikes, plant diseases, nuclear warfare, and even earthquakes—in fact, the structure absorbed a magnitude 6.2 quake here last week without a crack.

Though Norway owns the global seed bank—the first of its kind—other countries can store seeds in it and remove them as needed. The genes in the seeds may someday be needed to adapt crops to endure climate change, droughts, blights, and other potential catastrophes.
The facility is designed to be able to replenish other gene banks around the world if they are hit by catastrophe.

NASA’s Warning

NASA has recently published report of an impending disaster due to the sun’s magnetic anomalies that will probably result in destruction of satellite communications, GPS, Air Traffic, and Power Grids and so on. They believe that Solar Cycle 24 will be big and intense, peaking in 2011 or 2012.

Project Camelot

http://projectcamelot.org/norway.html

I would like to say based on the facts given by the leading scientists revealed in "An Inconvenient Truth" that difficult things will happen from the year 2008 till the year 2012. The Norwegian government is building more and more underground bases and bunkers.

Israel is also doing the same and many other countries too.

Warming Of The Solar System

* Mars is going through a period of climate change, new findings from NASA's Mars Odyssey orbiter suggest.
* Martian Ice Shrinking Dramatically and for three Mars summers in a row, deposits of frozen carbon dioxide near Mars' south pole have shrunk from the previous year's size, suggesting a climate change in progress.
* Global climate change on Jupiter.
* NASA says its Cassini spacecraft has recently found hurricane-like storms at Saturn's South Pole, nearly 5,000 miles across.
* At least since 1989, Triton, Neptune’s largest moon has been undergoing a period of immense global warming.
* The minor planet Pluto is undergoing global warming, researchers find. If the Sun is the cause for global warming in the solar system, as some scientists say, why is Pluto, that is the farthest body away from the Sun, experiencing the most severe effects and it is getting worse as it orbits away from the sun?

So, is the sun responsible for ‘global warming’ of the Solar System or is it something else that’s also responsible?

Well, these are a few of the pointers from diverse fields and sources that hint at a possible catastrophe in the near future and the preparations being made. Are we being denied the truth by the powers that be? According to the Norwegian politician, the answer is apparently, yes. Lesser souls like us will just have to wait and watch and probably see the world unraveling before us in the not to distant future. But then it would perhaps be too late!

Is this true?

Yamashita Treasure is Real!!!

General Tomoyuki Yamashita - 8 November 1885 - 23 February 1946) was a general of the Japanese Imperial Army during the World War II. He was most famous for conquering the British colonies of Malaya and Singapore, earning the nickname The Tiger of Malaya.

Treasure burials in the Philippines before and during World War II are very real.

These treasures named after General Yamashita still have millions of tons in gold and
huge amounts of jewels secured in deep dangerous conditions.

Tornado: Climate Change

The increase in greenhouse gases plays a role in the formation of tornadoes. This means that we are experiencing more tornadoes and tornadoes of greater magnitude as a result of both global warming and strengthened cycles such as El Nino and La Nina. We are cautious, however, not to underestimate the advances in forecasting and detection technology which may have led to an increase especially in the number of tornadoes reported. You’ve seen tornado that wreak houses on land but I bet you’ve never seen a tornado aka waterspout on a sea, this waterspout seems scary.

Tornados, Flooding May Warn Of Climate Change

Source: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/06/080602231312.htm

ScienceDaily (Jun. 4, 2008) — Record-keeping meteorologists at the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration say this year’s tornado season is one of the deadliest in a decade and may be on pace to set a record for the most tornadoes. And flooding in the Midwest has been at 100-year levels this spring.

“There is considerable concern that climate change due to greenhouse gases species increasing will lead to the enhancement of strong, large storms occurrences, such as hurricanes that also spawn tornadoes when they occur. Increased storm strengths also bring flooding events,” he said.

Gaffney and co-researcher Nancy A. Marley are currently involved in a three-year investigation of aerosols – tiny particles suspended in the air – and their role in climate change.*

Tornadoes are short-lived events and, until recently, scientists had to depend on limited ground observations to study them. Satellites and radar systems are now enhancing researchers’ ability to see their number and strength in detail. But short lived tornadoes are hard to tie directly to climate change due to the limited climatology of tornadoes.

Weather forecasters have examined El Niño and La Niña, important temperature fluctuations in surface waters of the tropical eastern Pacific Ocean, as a potential for past tornado activities in the U.S.

“The data available from NOAA do not support a strong statistical significance to data for direct effects of El Niño or La Niña on frequency or strength of tornadoes,” Gaffney said. “Although, there is considerable concern that climate change due to greenhouse species will lead to significant changes in weather patterns, these currently available data are not conclusive.”

He said the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s report on severe weather events discusses the topics backed up by NOAA data.

“Basic thought is there’s more energy in the atmosphere, more water vapor evaporating and greater likelihood for stronger heating events that lead to stronger thunderstorms - super cells, that can lead to tornado production,” Gaffney said.

He said tornadoes are complex phenomena that are linked to the number of super cells and their storm strengths. Flooding events are more wide spread than tornadoes, and are more readily tied to climate predictions than tornadoes.

“What we are looking to see, in current and future research and data acquisition, is whether the frequency and strength of tornadoes change as we continue to increase the energy distribution in the atmosphere,” he said. “Currently, this year is looking to be significantly larger in the number of tornadoes seen than in the past few years. That and the record floods that are associated with these strong storm systems, may be a warning of things to come. But more data gathering is needed.”

Gaffney points to the improved Doppler radar systems that have allowed tornado warning times to be advanced as the main tool for gathering this tornado climatology that will be needed to evaluate links between climate change and severe weather events.

*The $625,000 study is funded by the Department of Energy Atmospheric Science Program. He and Marley will discuss severe weather and links to climate during their annual orientation for the DOE Global Change Education Program.
